USEFUL INFORMATION

These two, superior quality, privately owned holiday homes are available in Embleton for the discerning wishing for absolute comfort, enjoyment, peace, privacy and personal attention.

Quality in Tourism registered and 3 STAR graded for 2009. 

They are tastefully decorated and furnished to a very high standard, great attention having been paid to the selection and co-ordination of furnishings, fabrics and colour schemes. Each is personally supervised by the owner. By dealing directly with the owner, visitors avoid paying agency commission fees.

Constant upgrading and refurbishing is undertaken. Central heating is provided free of charge by means of night storage heaters. Additional wall heaters and coal effect fires are provided, as are heated towel rails. Hot water is provided over night at economy rate, with day time booster if required.

Electricity is free and is included in the price of booking. All necessary household effects are provided except linen, which may be hired if desired. Where appropriate all carpets are fully fitted, some floors are parquet. Each cottage is let in good clean order, but it must be stressed that it is also the tenants responsibility to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition. A cleaner may be hired if requested.

CONDITIONS FOR RENTING Northumbrian Holiday Cottages

bulletEach property is let for private residential purposes only and may be used for no other purpose.
bulletVisitors are responsible for leaving the property clean and tidy.
bulletNo children under the age of 3 years except by prior arrangement. Cots available.
bulletBreakages must either be paid for or replaced. Damage will be chargeable.
bulletNo responsibility is accepted for any accident or mishap to persons or property whilst on the premises.
bulletNo more than 6 persons may be resident at any time at Dunstanlea, 4 persons at Southgate, and 3 persons at Upabove. Should this condition be contravened the whole party will be asked to leave.
bulletSorry, but for the sake of those following, and the owners' reputation with local residents and farmers, no dogs except one only on request at Dunstanlea where there is a secure rear garden.
bulletOpen fires not permitted.
bulletFinal payment to be made 6 weeks before occupation.
bulletLetting to commence Saturday 4.00 pm and to end Saturday 10.30 am (Winter season by arrangement).

CANCELLATIONS

As money will only be returned in very exceptional circumstances and provided a re-let is obtained, it is suggested that guests take out suitable insurance. Forms will be provided.
